Sunset (79) is part of a limited-edition collection that is a tribute to Donny Hathaway and reprises the 1970’s theme from the artist’s exhibition, The 70’s: A Decade of Soul held in 2018, in Atlanta, Georgia. In this self-portrait, the artist uses a monochromatic palette and lighting to bring focus to his sartorial (re)creations that defined the decade of disco.
