Isano D
is part of a series of five paintings Karekezi completed in 2022. This piece done in the figurative abstract style features the blending of three faces into one to create a kaleidoscope that pulls the viewer in to focus on piercing stares of two pairs of eyes while making it possible to miss the other face positioned in profile.
