The Missing Thread: Finding Ngoie exhibition ran from February 225,2024, in Atlanta, Georgia, and featured the Rwanda-based visual artist, Willy Karekezi, whose captivating works took center stage. The exhibition, which was curated by Nyaradzai Mahachi, was Kerekezi’s first solo exhibition in the United States.

Over the course of the month-long exhibition, art aficionados, collectors, gallerists, and artists all came out to view the works on exhibition. We are grateful for the well-attended opening reception–a testament to the profound impact of Willy’s art. Several guests shared that the works resonated with them on a deep and emotional level. The gallery also hosted two collector’s talk events: one during the opening reception and another later in the month. Both events provided the audience with direct opportunities to gain insight into the artist’s creative process and his inspiration. The exhibition concluded on February 25.
